Welcome to Camp!

Welcome to Camp K-9!

Camp K-9 sits privately on 23 country acres in Forest Lake, MN. At Camp (as we like to call it), your pet's safety and care is our primary concern. Our kennels have in-floor heat for cold months, epoxy-coated floors, and optional platform dog beds. They are sanitized daily and feature air-conditioning in the summer with an additional air exchange unit for your dog's health. We welcome all sizes and breeds and will gladly care for your pets with any special needs. All employees are pet CPR certified within their first year of employment. Our prices are affordable and our staff is dedicated to caring for each of our Campers as if they were our own, accommodating any special needs or instructions they may have. We have a large play yard and an indoor playroom for dogs to stretch their legs while always being supervised by staff. Please note we are not a free roam facility, dogs do spend time in their kennels, see our New Camper or Services page for more info on this. Owners have options to include additional playtimes for boarding dogs (at an additional cost). Visit our New Camper page for more information about Camp K-9 or Contact us today!

  • Our groomer Melissa is retired as of July 2024, but our new Groomer Grace is still offering haircuts. Bath and nail trim only appointments are still available as well. Contact us with any grooming questions!

As of 06/01/25 we are currently at capacity for regular set schedule daycare dogs (recurring daycare is not offered on the weekends). We are still offering daycare but are unable to guarantee any more customers a regular kennel each week (for example daycare every Tuesday and Thursday). If you would like to bring your dog to Camp for daycare give us a call and see what is available or if you have any questions!

*any message that is still posted is still relevant*

NO REGULAR DAYCARE:

Thursday, September 18th

(dates are subject to change based on the volume of pets boarding in our facility on any given day. Unfortunately we are a small facility with limited kennel space. Thank you for you patience and understanding!)

Our facility is unfortunately full with boarders for these dates, and we will be unable to house our regular daycare dogs. If you have any questions please reach out via call/text/email!

Important information for Tuesday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 17th:

Camp K-9 's driveway is being seal coated on these days and will not be able to be driven on. Camp will be open as normal, but our staff will be posted at the road to help walk our Campers to and from the building. Please make sure all dogs have a leash and account for drop off/pick up to take longer than usual. We understand this is an inconvenience and understand if you need to cancel or reschedule any reservations you have those days. Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

At Camp K-9, dogs have the opportunity to engage in supervised play sessions, interact with other dogs, and enjoy plenty of indoor or outdoor activities. Or they can hang out with staff one on one for private playtimes! Cats can relax and explore our catroom climbing wall, completely separate from our canine Campers. Our team of experienced staff members ensure that all pets receive the attention and care they deserve during their stay.

Required Vaccinations:

We require your dog and/or cat to be current on their Rabies and Distemper (FVRCP for cats) vaccinations. The Bordetella vaccination (for dogs only) is strongly recommended but not required. Please note it is not the responsibility of Camp K-9 & K-9 Cuts to provide vaccine records for your pet, and if your pet does not have the required vaccinations up to date unfortunately they will not be able to stay at our facility. We do accept titers test (must be submitted annually). Proof of current vaccines must be submitted BEFORE your pet(s) stay in our facility. Contact us with questions!
